Dust or Vacuum????!

To vacuum first, or to dust first? To help get rid of dust, allergens and other particles floating through your home's air, wipe your surfaces first using the Norwex Dust Mitt, which will trap the dust. For heavily soiled surfaces, moisten the Dust Mitt or use a damp EnviroCloth and clean thoroughly. Then vacuum, or try the Norwex Dry Mop, to help remove any remaining dirt. The reason: If you save dusting until the end, dirt particles may linger in the air and eventually land back on your surfaces, and floors, meaning you will be dusting sooner than you would like. -Norwex Facebook Page

Dry Sweep or Wet Mop?!!?

Should you dry mop before you wet mop? Yes, always Dry Mop first! It may seem redundant to clean something you're about to clean, but wet mops are not great at picking up crumbs, dust, hair, and other solid debris. If you mop an unswept floor, you are likely to end up pushing debris around. Moreover, dust and dirt can leave scratches on the floor if not removed first.

Use the Norwex Dry Mop which cleans with static to pick up dirt, hair, dust and other solid debris without chemicals. Then get your Norwex Wet Mop Pad wet and wash your floors using a figure-8 pattern. When you're finished, remove the pad. If it's not too dirty, hang it to dry completely, or wash it in your washing machine if it's too dirty. - Norwex Facebook Page

Here are some basic steps.

1. Wash with non-lint laundry. (No fleece, flannel, towels, etc.)

2. Use a "Free" laundry detergent, Norwex sells a great laundry detergent but any "free" deterrent will work.

3. No bleach

4. No fabric softener

5. No dryer sheets

One of the Essentials!!

A fairly simple post, but I would like to share with you one of my Norwex Essentials!! It isn't necessarily one of our top 10 sellers, but it is something we use in our house, everyday, all day long!! And honestly, I dont't know what I did without it!!

The Netted Dish Cloth

The netted dish cloth replaces sponges that you were using to scrub dishes! It is  loosely woven nylon which allows food particles to rinse right out of it. It works great on caked on, baked on messes as well as cast iron pans!! You can also use it to get flour, dough, and crusties off of your counters! You will need to follow up your counters with an EnviroCloth in order to wipe up the water/crumbs. The dish cloth is great wherever scrubbing power is needed! This is my favorite thing....after rinsing, wash in the top rack of your dishwasher!!! Seriously, this thing is the best! I will never use a different dish scrubber again!
